The Soil & Health Association has many members in EBOP’s rohe which share concern over poor environmental outcomes of many land and water use activities. Genetic engineering (GE) within the region has no real controls besides those of the Environmental Risk Management Authority, and that agency has glossed over the risks.  An holistic approach to land and water use is required if land is to retain its productive capacity, and fresh water and marine habitats are to be restored. Air quality objectives must take special account of methyl bromide use and other pesticide use in the region. More...

Project Gro

ProjectGroSoil & Health is delighted to announce that the first recipient of Project Gro funds is EcoMatters Trust in Auckland.

The fund will be used to support community groups, environment centres and schools starting-up and maintaining organic gardens, to create organic gardening resources and teach organic principles for health of people and planet.
