To know our food is safe and free from contamination is a fundamental human right. What safeguards exist for most New Zealand consumers standing in a supermarket? How can we change government policy so that safe locally produced organic food is the norm, not the exception?
With your help we will continue to campaign for nutrient-rich, organic food, saying no to GE, pesticides or synthetic additives, and yes to Country of Origin Labelling, and yes to a sustainable New Zealand.

Organic Conference 2009
The Organic Sector Conference will focus on the innovation which is inherent in organic and biodynamic farming, marketing and organisations.
Conference presenters will include leading experts in farming, foodservice and business - each bringing their own innovative and surprising perspectives on organics. The conference's first day is dedicated to the best of pure and applied research, while field trips to successful organic producers provide chances to share information and 'on farm' experience.
On the evening of 14 November OANZ's gala dinner will include the presentation of our annual Organic Awards, celebrating outstanding producers, exporters and individuals.
You're invited to join us, our speakers, and the New Zealand organic community for a conference which will excite, inspire and educate. More information and online registration is available from the conference website - www.goorganic.org.nz
Organic Conference: 13-15 November, University of Waikato, Hamilton.
