Perry Spiller
Appointed as Educational and Advisory Officer in 1985.  National President of the Association from 1986 to 1994.  Appointed as Honorary Public Relations Officer for New Zealand Biological Producers Council in 1987.  Made Life Member in 1995.

Chris Wheeler
Editor of the magazine from 1990 to 1998, and President from 1994 to 1998.

Margaret Jones
Margaret joined the Association in 1942, one of the founding members, and has worked tirelessly for the Association since then, distributing the magazine throughout Auckland in the days before professional distributors were appointed, working at field days and exhibitions every year.  Appointed Patron in 2004.  Made Life Member in 2000.

Bob Crowder
Established the Biological Husbandry Unit at Lincoln College in 1977 – the first of its kind in NZ – and was the driving force behind Project GRO, which enabled students to complete their diplomas.   Helped to establish the New Zealand Biological Producers Council, and was President for three years.  Appointed to the Board of Directors of IFOAM in 1989.

Mollie Chalklen
National President from1981 to 1983 and also produced the magazine from 1981 to 1982.  She was a WEA tutor in organic gardening and is in great demand as a speaker to garden clubs and other organisations.

Jean Meechin
Supported her husband Jack in his 27 years as editor/business manager for the Association from 1954 to 1981.  Jack and Jean involved in Canterbury Branch.

Pat & Trevor Wright
Instrumental in the formation of the North Canterbury Branch in 1985.  Organised very successful Conferences at Lincoln College in 1988, and at Kaiteriteri in  1997. Trevor appointed South Island Liaison Officer in 1989. His enthusiasm initiated South Island Regional meetings and promoting branch activities and new sub-branches and groups throughout the South Island.  Made Life Members in 2002.

Trevor Ross
An organic farmer who made and sold tonnes of compost each year from his farm in Palmerston, Otago, with local charities benefiting from the distribution of bags in both Dunedin and Christchurch.

Winifred & Ray Bourn
Stalwarts of the Levin Branch for over 18 years.  Helped to organise conference in Levin in 1996.   Made Life Members in 2005.
 
Lyn Watson
National Secretary for the Association for 16 years from 1987 to 2003.  Made a Life Member in 2005.
