For 70 years the Soil & Health Association, through the active support of people like you, has made an invaluable contribution to promoting a healthy, sustainable and biologically rich lifestyle for all.

As we prepare to celebrate our 70th birthday, we are asking if you can help maintain the ability of the Association to campaign on all the important issues that always confront us.

In the lifetime of this organisation Organics has gone from the fringe, fostered by a few, spurned by many, to the centre of debate about what makes a sustainable society. We have all achieved this change together.

But we also know the battle is far from over. A rapidly increasing global population demanding a “western” lifestyle is causing extraordinary pressure for global factory farming, which is supported by the agri-chemical giants here. That alliance also wants to introduce genetic engineering here as part of its global expansion while avoiding public consultation.

Soil & Health is often the lone voice standing against these forces. As a valued supporter of Soil & Health, we are asking you to help support our ongoing campaigns by making a donation.

We have a rich history of achievements, including keeping the vision of organics alive in this country and providing a central focus for information and exchange. We have campaigned against GE, pesticides, food additives, and unsustainable and inhumane farming practices. At the same time, we have campaigned for organic farming, created the vision of Organic 2020, helped foster organic communities, jointly established both BioGro and OrganicFarmNZ and educated thousands of New Zealanders about organic food, farming and sustainable living.
